If you haven’t registered yet, click here to learn how or visit the How to Register for MyMedicare section on our website.

Convenience Services

For patients we know and see regularly, some follow-up needs can be safely and thoughtfully managed outside a traditional consultation.

If your condition is stable and your medications are not high-risk (e.g. Schedule 8), we may be able to provide certain services remotely — saving you time while keeping your care connected.

These services can be requested online and are clinically reviewed by your GP. If your request is more complex or not suitable for remote management, we’ll advise you to book a full appointment instead.

Repeat Script

Request a prescription renewal online. If appropriate, we’ll send it to your phone or pharmacy within 2 business days.

Fee: $35

Pathology Request

Request your pathology form ahead of time so results are ready to review at your next appointment.

Fee: $25

Medical Certificate

For minor illness or known conditions. If clinically appropriate, we’ll prepare and send your certificate remotely.

Fee: $25

Note: These services are available only to regular patients who have had an in-person consultation within the last 12 months. They are not Medicare-rebatable and do not replace a standard medical consultation.

Skin Cancer

Skin cancer is common — but when caught early, it’s highly treatable. At North St Ives Medical Practice, we take a thorough, proactive approach to detection and care.

Our skin cancer doctors use dermoscopy and full-body examinations to detect early signs of skin cancer. If a suspicious lesion is found, we can manage everything from diagnosis through to minor surgery and post-operative wound care — all within the same trusted team.
