FEES

GP CONSULTATIONS (Face to face and Telehealth)

  • Standard : $100 (Medicare reimbursement $41.40)

  • Long : $155 (Medicare reimbursement $80.10)

  • Extended : $208 (Medicare reimbursement $118.00)

Weekends: A higher consultation fee applies on weekends.

Pensioner card holders: As of the 1st March 2022 pension card holders will be charged a discounted consultation fee, full payment required on the day.

Please note: we are not a bulk billing practice.

TELEHEALTH CONSULTATIONS

Fees apply for telehealth consultations. Currently, Medicare offers the same rebates for existing patients so if you have been to North St Ives Medical for any GP consultation in the last 12 months, you will receive a rebate as you would if you had a regular face-to-face consultation.

If you are a new patient or your last consultation was over 12 months ago, unfortunately, Medicare will not reimburse you. Full consultation fee will apply.

PROCEDURES

All specialist procedures (e.g IUD insertion, skin cancer removal/biopsy) attract higher gap fee starting from $60, in addition to your consultation fees. The cost of your procedure depends on the complexity and duration. Your doctor will inform you of the fee prior to your procedure.

Payment methods available include EFTPOS, Debit, Visa and MasterCard. (Surcharge applies)
